About
Hi! I'm Lydia.
I graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Oregon University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a focus in managerial accounting. I'm currently building my career in accounting while continuing to develop my skills through professional projects, CMA preparation, and a healthy dose of curiosity.
I've always enjoyed learning—not just collecting facts, but understanding how things work. That curiosity led me back to college, and it continues to shape both my professional development and my hobbies. Whether I'm building an accounting portfolio, studying French, tending a kitchen garden, reading theology, or learning a new craft, I'm happiest when I'm exploring something new.
This website reflects that philosophy. You'll find my accounting portfolio alongside occasional posts about books, gardening, productivity, cooking, languages, music, and other interests that have captured my attention over the years. Some topics appear regularly for a season, while others may disappear for months before resurfacing again. That's simply the nature of lifelong learning.
If you've found your way here because of my accounting portfolio, welcome! I hope the projects provide a helpful picture of how I approach problem-solving, organization, and continuous learning. And if you're here because we share a hobby or a love of learning, I hope you'll find something interesting to explore.
Thanks for stopping by.
